Thanks for dropping by. 2012 promises to be an exciting year for MR. We have already had a busy start to the year with the last 2 weeks of January fully booked out, one of them will be spent recording a single for local mount martha based band Enigma who are also recording an EP with me throughout the year.
I’ve been busy mixing and mastering all sorts from Gods Of Nothing, Interconnector, Jimmy and The Goodbrew, and many other odds and ends. Inquiries have been busy too so it looks like it’s going to be a busy year.
I had my first recording session with Balcony TV last sunday with a whopping 8 bands who are all performing at this years st kilda fest, those episodes will be up soon.
If you havn’t checked it out, the new peninsula based publication titled ‘Pearl’ came out in December 2011. It’s free to grab a copy in most venues/cafes around the Morninton Peninsula.. great thing is it’s purely all about arts, culture and best of all, MUSIC! We have a Q&A column in it titled ‘Studio Fever’ where i’ll be answering all your questions about studio and band related stuff…
Anyway, i’ll try and be a bit more frequent with my blogs this year, can’t believe previous one was so long ago, time flies when you do this kind of work.. no promises though haha.
