We are booked solid until 2nd week of august, but there is a nice slot available for any bands/artists out there who wish to take advantage of our awesome album and EP rates and get a release out before summer roles in.
Flick Dave an email to dave@miscreantrecordings.com if you’re interested or shopping around for a studio, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at our rates and quality of work we have been producing!
Throughout June we had Harvest hit the studio, the single is now available to checkout on their Facebook page. I also recorded a live demo album over 3 days for punk band Trash City Victims and worked on some demo tracks for solo artists Dan Latimer who will be back in July to record a single.
We have a number of new artists hitting the studio throughout July, and we will keep you all posted on who’s here and when you can hear the outcome.
Lots happening at the studio this month, including a new look to the website! I have been on the hunt for a new studio space in the Auckland city area, it’s early days yet, but hopefully I will find something and have it all setup in the coming months. This will be much more convenient for our more central auckland based clients who struggle to get out to Albany.
I’ve just completed 2 new tracks titled ‘These Days’ and ‘Time’ for Auckland based rock band The Zoup which will be featured on their new upcoming EP. Tracks should be available to listen on their website in august/september or you can grab a promo CD off them at any of their upcoming shows to be one of the first to hear the goodness. The band are also touring the sth island so be sure to check out their website for tour dates around NZ.
Rotorua based rock/metal band ‘Harvest’ were also in the studio the other day recording a single, the track, as yet un-named, should be up very soon, it sounds hot!
Punk band Trash City Victims will be in the studio next week recording their debut album. We are setting the whole band up in the studio and recording it live and raw.. looking forward to this one as it’s going to be a very different approach to the whole recording process than the usual overdub method.
Stay tuned for more new music too as i will soon be updating my music player with some of the latest of my production works.
