Here are some audio examples of the quality of audio engineering work we do. These artists have kindly allowed me to post their songs as samples. Some were brand new and doing their first recordings and some were more estabished.
All of these song recordings were written produced and arranged by the bands themselves and brought to us to engineer, (record mix and master). As we are musicians too, in some occasional cases we take part in the pre-production process and is available as an extra service.
There is quite a range of music styles in the player, this is to give you an idea of the quality of recording and mix we can produce in many different genres. Each artists sound is catered for and we work with the artists to deliver their own unique sound. On occasions we throw around ideas during the recording process to try bring out the best in the songs, if the artists are open to it of course.
The 2 before and after mastering examples you’ll see in the player were recorded and mixed by the brilliant ears of Chazz Rabble at Number 8 Wire recordings in Auckland New Zealand and mastered by us. This is to give you an example of our mastering service and how it can improve the sound of your mixes, you’ll first hear the song un-mastered, then mastered. Notice the loudness and tweak in the EQ? This is the final process in a recording which prepares it for the medium it is going to be put on wether it be mp3, vinyl, CD or radio.
